Dizengoff Village
The project aims to redesign the roof of Dizengoff Center in a way that connects nature with the city, using natural materials such as wood and compressed earth. The houses were planned in diagonal lines to preserve privacy, with angled roofs and space left in front of each house for planting. The crops grown are then distributed to the village residents and to food stores in the center.
One of the main challenges was comparing it to the "Bar Orian" project. In our project, we designed 36 houses over a total area of 2,300 m² on one floor, while Bar Orian designed 85 houses over approximately 2,500 m² spread over two floors.
