Kid Quest Learning

The project aims to redesign the inner courtyard of the Mandel Center in Tel Aviv–Jaffa and turn it into an interactive space for children and their parents. The design combines nature, learning and play and focuses on the different heights of users (children and adults). It uses natural materials like wood, sand, and stones to create a safe and eco-friendly environment.
A new entrance was opened to make the center more welcoming. The spaces were designed to include areas for sitting, playing and relaxing and some areas are made only for children. There are also underground play paths, special stairs and a rooftop space with a tent and telescope for star watching.
The project keeps the original shape of the building but creates a completely new experience inside. It encourages children’s independence, discovery and sense of belonging and supports interaction between parents and children in a lively learning environment.
